Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing test head positioners, docking hardware, and other electromechanical interfaces using personal and internal senior engineering’s knowledge of test heads and related handlers and probers, as well as specific customer requirements. The position formulates and effectively utilizes partnerships across the engineering disciplines to deliver value-added solutions to our customer critical challenges and reflects the business objectives of all stakeholders. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Designs industrial/manufacturing equipment, processing, and positioning systems, taking projects all the way from concept brainstorming, through detailed design, prototype fabrication and testing, to production release with guidance from senior engineer.

· Interprets and maintains technical drawings, manuals, and installation procedures for existing products, and develops same for new products.

· Works with senior engineering, sales, and marketing to ensure an understanding of the customers product requirements.

· Researches, designs, evaluates, and constructs prototypes/production samples that meet and or exceed customer requirements with support and reviews from senior engineers.

· Effectively executes work product on schedule and in-line with project plans.

· Consults with Operations and senior engineering to select manufacturing methods, suppliers, and solve other critical fabrication issues.

· Develops, coordinates, or monitors all aspects of production, including selection of manufacturing methods, fabrication, supplier selection or operation of product designs.

· Lead technicians/CAD designers to complete aspects of your design.

· Investigates equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommends remedial actions.

· Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

· Verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer is critical to help us achieve the highest standards in the ATE industry. In this position, you will formulate partnerships across the business to enhance our standards within the organization. You will focus on internal/external continuous improvement projects, process writing, and assisting the business with achieving ISO 9001 certification. 

The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but will rely on relationships with leaders within the company to achieve goals.

 

Duties / Responsibilities

· Delivers high quality service to internal personnel & external customers.

· Ensures QA actions are taken to support production goals.

· Develops and documents quality processes for all facets of the business.

· Lead efforts to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certification.

· Makes sure quality standards are up-to-date and in compliance with designs, drawings, and specifications.

· Leads incoming, production, and post-production inspections.

· Investigates product failures and facilitates root cause analysis.

· Ability to work in and lead cross-functional teams to resolve challenging problems and issues within the manufacturing process.

· Report quality related data and metrics to management were applicable.

 

Requirements

· 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment; preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; preferred.

· Experience with ISO 9001 processes and audits.

· Experience with metrology such as calipers, height gages, micrometers.

· Experience with processes such as FMEA, 8D’s, Fishbone diagrams.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to provide sound judgment.

· Lean / 5S experience: preferred.

· ERP experience: preferred.

· Potential travel to customer or supplier site(s), up to 10%

We are searching for skilled talent to join our inTEST family as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler at our Mount Laurel, NJ facility. This critical role supports the EMS businesses. This business is on a trajectory of growth and provides an opportunity to support a global organization. 

Job Summary:

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler will assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as modules, circuit boards, wiring harnesses, etc. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with manual dexterity and electro-mechanical aptitude. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and interpret BOM’s, Work Instructions, Travelers, Blueprints, Routers, and Engineering Change Notices to include      Engineering modifications and designs.
  • Electrical Assembly of complex units where a high degree of problem-solving and extreme care, skilled workmanship, and accuracy are required. 
  • Routes, wires, assembles, and installs electrical and electronic components in cabinets, electronics enclosures and on assembled machines to complete functionality of integrated components according to specifications.
  • Cuts wire to specified lengths, using wire cutters using soldering gun and hand tools.
  • Crimps terminal eyelets and lugs to wire ends, using hand or machine crimping devices.
  • Routes, combs, twists, wraps, ties, and attaches wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering gun and hand tools.
  • Conducts functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness, and plugs, using ohmmeter, test      lights, and other electrical testing instruments.
  • Perform tests on finished products before packaging.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • Complete other tasks as necessary.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Minimum one year experience working with electrical components and/or assemblies.
  • Ability to successfully pass electrical components testing.
  • Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions.
  • Proficiency with all basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.
  • Proficiency with electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Regularly lift 10-50 pounds.
  • Possess manual dexterity to put electrical or mechanical parts together quickly and accurately.
  • Both Mechanical and Electrical aptitude including the ability to follow directions.
  • Wiring experience a must.

We are searching for a forward-thinking HR professional to join our inTEST family as a Multi-Site HR Business Partner headquartered at our Mount Laurel, NJ facility and reporting to our Divisional President. This critical role supports the Electronic Test division housing both the EMS and Acculogic businesses. This division is on a trajectory of growth and provides an opportunity to support a global organization. 

Job Summary:

The Multi-Site HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The Multi-Site HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture, and its competition.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities yet does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions.

Duties / Responsibilities

· Provides performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Responsible for the management of the divisions performance management program. 

· Processes payroll utilizing Paylocity - must be willing and capable of learning program if not already at a minimum level of proficiency. 

· Serves as a leader on the site safety teams within the division ensuring all safety requirements are met and a culture of continuous improvement is encouraged  Collects and publishes safety metrics on a regular basis.

· Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the functional HR team to support the development of solutions, programs and policies.

· Serves as a key stakeholder on the division and business unit leadership teams. 

· Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.

· Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. 

· Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

· Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

· Assists international employees with HR matters.

· Provides guidance and input regarding business unit restructuring, capability and workforce planning along with succession planning. Maintains organizational charts and succession plan documents for the division. 

· Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

· Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success along with follow up ensuring training objectives are met. 

· Leads efforts to fill open positions within the division. 

· Takes an active role in due diligence efforts for potential M&A activities. 

· Builds and maintains personnel files for all employees. 

· Works with Corporate HR team on implementation of employee benefit programs including health, retirement, disability and employee assistance.

· Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR including the ability to resolve complex employee relations issues.

· Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations and union-avoidance strategies, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.

· Bachelor’s degree preferred. 

· SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment or master’s degree in HR-related discipline

**Salary will be commensurate with experience among other factors. Role is in Mt. Laurel NJ and can be hybrid once onboarding completely satisfied.
